What's Up With Tempus??

George,
I just heard from my rep about a new line called Tempus. I couldn't get any samples (not ready yet) and he didn't really know any details on blends. He did mention that they are being made in Honduras at a small factory that has made a good name for itself for some of it's other boutique brands.

What can you tell us?

Mike

Hey Mike,
You guys are on it on this site :-). We have not even made the news release yet.

I am proud to announce that Alec Bradley will be releasing the TEMPUS in mid April 2008.

The Tempus will be a complex , full body cigar with unbelievable flavors and aroma. The tobacco was picked out by Alan Rubin and Ralph Montero over 3 years ago. Way before I came on board. I guarantee you that this cigar will not disappoint.

It will be available in 5 sizes. Corona to Churchill.

It's been a while since I've been excited about a new cigar....that being said, my toes are tingling :-).

Hope this helps.

Be on the look out for MAXX Traditional. Same blend in "traditional" sizes. We are on a roll.

Wow, cannot wait. I enjoy the Maxx, and this cigar sounds good.

Why did you stop the tri-press shape on the Trillogy cigars? Just curious, I thought it was a cool shape.

Just saw an article on the Tempus in Cigar Insider. It looks like a great cigar. I looking forward to trying this cigar.

Am wondering where we can get these? Have every line Alec Bradley makes and now, I feel naked and alone without this new blend. Help me out with a site.
Thanks,

Tempus began shipping last week to select Alec Bradley retailers. Who they are... I am not sure. If your local B&M carries thier other smokes, I'd ask them about Tempus. We will be getting our first shipment around the first of the week (May 19 or 20). I am going to post a sampler in the retailer thread for folks who'd like to try it out.

I am smoking the robusto now, and I must say it's a nice smoke. Rich and full bodied, but smooth. It really seems like they've taken the time to age the tobacco's and not rushed these cigars to market. Retail in the 7-9 dollar range, and I would say it is as good or better than many other cigars in that price range.
