The highest my humi ever gets to is like 70 so I think mine was ok. I would never bad mouth CAO you have great customer service, and your sticks aint bad what so ever. I think I may have been expecting a little too much, but what got me kind of PO'ed is all the stems inside that made the draw terribly hard.

The only leaf that is de-stemmed is the wrapper.

You will not find a better quality cigar then CAO . and Cao has a few cigars for everyone
I love the Cameroon i have had alot of them some were good and some were not that shouldn't stop you. Only CAo that i know of puts the Date when it was packaged and boxed
so go and get another one and try it from a different place.

I agree with Joe. CAO is a top quality brand, I love the CAO lines and smoked the Brazilia's, MX2, CX2, Criolla to name a few...and have had no problems with any of them. The issue here might be the higher price point of the Soprano and getting a stick that didn't draw well. Its easier to toss a $6 or $7 stick versus a $15-$18 stick, no ?

Ok so today I decided to smoke an assosiate while doing some work outside and yes I may be a little biased with my assesment of the cigar but it was out-freakin-standing I love the sopranos CAO's they are one of the best cigars they put out zero draw issues great burn and fantastic flavors

I've had the Sopranos cigars. It was a good cigar, but I don't recall it being particularly memorable - I did not want to go out and buy a box or anything. Problem is that CAO has to pay HBO or someone to use the Sopranos name, so part of the cost of the cigar goes to that. My all time favorite CAO sticks are the America and the Brasilia and I do have boxes of both of those in my humi. The America may very well be my number one go to smoke come to think of it as I bypass others in my Humi and grab one of those fairly frequently.

I bought a 10 pack of CAO maduro anaversary, and 8 out of 10 would not draw, and I had to throw them out. I got in touch with the rep at the time, and he said send em back, and I send you some back. I thought his responce was bogas - that he should just send some cigars to make up for the problem, and not cause more hastle about sending what was left back. 10 cigars or less is not going to break CAOs bank - it would got along way to show what good service they had.
I said to H with it and tossed them. The cigars in question were make by perdoms, which I understand CAO does no longer use.
For me service and quality go hand in hand.

I tried the Soprano Associate during the first eppy of Season 6A of the Sopranos. After all the excitement of the Sopranos returning, the cigar itself did nothing for me. I thought it was just another cigar, and actually preferred the CAO Maduros and Extremes instead. The Soprano cigar just seems as if it was missing something the Maduro had and was use to smoking when I smoked a CAO.

Brian is right on the money. It only takes one leaf on the stick to be folded wrong to completely block the draw. Stems don't matter. Just my .02 cents.

Update on CAO - Bigfoot (who reps for cao) offered to make right the problem that I had with 10 CAO anaversary cigars. I think the offer speaks volumes for Bigfoot and CAO. I Have been very happy with all of my recient CAO purchases - and believe that CAO stands behind their product.
