CAO introduces...
...the newest line to the CAO portfolio...Ladies and Gentlemen I give you......
The CAO LX2 (Ligero Times Two) The CAO Lx2, Ligero Times two, was inspired by tobacco grown on a Nicaraguan field called Pueblo Nuevo, a 140 acre farm located outside of Condega, Nicaragua. This field only produces tobacco for CAO and Torano. The wrapper is a colorado leaf grown in the open sunlight at pueblo Nuevo, the binder is Honduran, and the filler is a mix of Nicaraguan and Dominican Ligeros. Tim Ozgener also wanted to have a ligero binder, but there were concerns that such a blend would have combustion problems, so that idea was scrapped. The Lx2 will have 3 sizes: Rob - 5x48 Toro - 6x50 Beli 6 1/2x52. There will also be a 7 1/2x38 Lancero, available only in special humidors. It was decided to make the Lx2 cigars slimmer, feeling that the thicker ring guages muted the cigars' intended power. Thus, the Lx2 Rob is slimmer than the Rob in the Mx2 Line. Price range will be between $6 to $8 retail. (pulled from Cigar Insider)
