Smoked the Tempus

At a herf Saturday night I decided to bring a few of the new Tempus that George Sosa had sent me. I also added a few in the herf bags for others to try. After eating a great dinner provided by our host Sam "Cypress" and Martha it was time to burn it up.

The Tempus was great and very smooth. It hit the full senses of my pallete and also upon retrohaling I noticed a tiny bit of caramel flavor. Further into the cigar I got that rich tobacco flavor that reminds you that it will be a long finish. I think the fact that there is no harshness at all is because these seem like they had actually had maybe a few months age on them to knock any sort of edge off of them.

A great cigar in my book and I will be purchasing some for smoking now since it does not seem like they need any more age.

Thanks to George for sending them and making for a great Saturday night. I have one left and I will smoke it in a few weeks as an early morning smoke to see how it is for a morning smoke.

I agree about the Tempus. What a wonderful smoke. Smooth and flavorful, fantastic! I think that the only thing that bothers me are those gold bands that sort of flake and get on the wrapper making it sparkle with gold!

I had a Tempus Centuria about two weeks ago and I agree that this is definitely a good smoke. Alec Bradley keeps crankin' out winners at good price points.

I had the same cigar last night and it was very satisfying. Really enjoyed it and thinking about buying a box (depending a little on the price of course)

George was kind enought to send a couple of Tempus to me as well. I had one just before I went to Mayo's. It was spot on to Daniel's review. I will certainly be picking up some more of them when I'm back on stick's, which I hope to be as soon as next week!!!

Thanks for all your kind words and support.
We will be introducing a special size at the show previously known as the RTDA.
I smoked a few a couple a days ago and they were terrific. More to follow.
The new shape will ship Mid October just in time for the holidays.

Be well guys,

ibble:ibble: Sweet! I have been eyeing those lately. Richmond Ave Cigars is having an event releasing that one tonight and one at Serious but won't be able to make it, so I'll just have to wait a little bit longer to try one. Lucky you!
