Oliva Serie V Lancero

I had another of the lanceros and I have to say it is my favorite of all the serie V line. The one I smoked had been in my humi for some time and it smoked like a million bucks.

They are by far the most flavorful of that line IMHO

Great call Stogie. I think I might have to break one out tonight when I get home. I haven't had one in months!

See that is the thing, I remember them that used to have a slight edge on them but now they are smoking perfectly. I can not wait until they release the Serie V culebras. Those look very cool!

I'll agree, they did have that "raw" taste, but still very enjoyable. Now that they have been resting for a few months it's time. Culebras??? I hadn't heard anything about them coming. What's the timeframe?

Not sure when they will be released but I saw them in the Humi when I was down at the Oliva factory. They are awesome looking, that nice dark oily wrapper makes them a work of art in a culebra. The great part is it has to be smoked with two friends.

If you happen to see them move, I'd appreciate a heads up on them as I'd like to grab a few before they disappear. I'm sure they'll be a hot item!

Thanks for the info Daniel. I heard there were a handfull that went out with original release of the V and now are impossible to find. I'll keep my eyes open for these. Gonna have to buy a couple boxes at least.

The reason I noticed they got even better was because I have always liked them and knew the taste pretty well and when I smoked one again it just totally blew me away that it got even better.

I'm not talking a year, but I just got them last week. I usually let sticks sit at least 2 weeks after arrival before smoking. So less than 7 days to go
