This is a discussion on Moster shipping question??? within the Meet the Manufacturer forums, part of the Cigar Specialty Forums category; I got my monsters and they looked great except... the ribbon was so tight around them that the 4 outside ...

Moster shipping question???
I got my monsters and they looked great except... the ribbon was so tight around them that the 4 outside cigars have a heavy indention in them. Did anyone else have this problem. I guess they will smoke fine just look funny with a big indention in it. Created knda a soft spot if u will.. Just curious.

I observed the very same phenomenon in an open box that I bought some Franks from in California. Smoked fine, but it's not nice to have your prized cigars smashed liked that.

It is tough, because they are banded when moist, but when they dry out a little, they expand, causing this to happen.

Gotta say it seemed to burn pretty darn good. They need a little quality time in the humi but then i think they will be great! Sooooo I guess i do not care that they have a little funky look as long as they smoke as good as the one yesterday!
