Feedback on a RP Rep..

I don't recall his name (sadly).

There was a Rocky Patel event at my local B&M in Arlington VA (Cigar Connections) about 2 months ago ... maybe 3 at this point..

Just wanted to pass on to your folks over at RP, that the Rep was fantastic..

He didn't try to job me into buying things I didn't want.. nor did he just tell me what I should like.. I explained to him my favorite blends and my every day smokes. He then showed me the different RP's (I had only ever smoked an Edge at that point) and not only explained the differences, but why he felt I would like certain ones.

I ended up leaving with a box and a half of smokes (he got me hooked on the Decade Torpedo and the OWR Torpedo).. and thanks for the killer RP Hat.

Nice. Reps are, for the most part, class folks - you couldn't be a successful salesperson, otherwise IMO.

You would think this would be true but it isn't always. The Ashton rep at my local B&M is an ass. I've been to two events he's hosted and both times he was an ass. I haven't bought a cigar by Ashton(not even a San Cristobal) since bc of that guy. THe RP rep here in the Va Beach area is great too. Pretty funny guy.

At the Cigar Heritage Festival on 11/15 The RP Reps there barking out deals and basically doing what I call "circus selling". Ever walk down a midway at a circus? That's what I mean when I say they were "barking out deals".

Cmon, buy4 get one free. Buy a box.......
