When I was at the Outlaw last month they were talking like it didnt. Several people mentioned that if it passes we will no longer be able to smoke there. THAT SUCKS!
I am waiting for Cigar_Joel to comment on it since he works there. We were talking about having Smoke Across Cigar Live there on the 26th and it looks like that might change now.

Brian, I talked to Joel about this when I was in KC in Feb or March and he said shops would not be exempt. They tried to change it by going to the city council meetings but it did not help. I see they have passed the law now. SUCKS big time. Flint

That does suck! I hope they can still have events outside in the tent. I was planning on going to the NUb event in Aug.

The law has passed and it is planned that smoking will be banned, even within the hallowed walls of Outlaw. However, it's my understanding there is still some work going on and alternatives are being sought. Do not give up on the beautful smoking lounge at Outlaw!

We are currently working on an exemption but have not come up with one yet. We have a few options if we cant get one by June 1st. We will hope for the best!!

Amen, to that ER Doc!! I can't believe they can pass a law like that. Charge a membership like in Lawrence or something. I hope that doesn't affect Kendells business to much.
