Sometimes I enjoy Moody Blues' deeper cuts with a good cigar.

Any Johnny Cash or Bob Marley. I normally listen to punk (or ska), but a cigar is a mellow activity, and you need music that reflects that.

Like what cigar I want to smoke it depends on the mood. I frequently go to Blues, Jazz (old), or Classic Rock (including and especially Bob Seger).

actually, Andy's new cd (Gates of Gnomeria) has a pretty regular spot in my garage CD player's rotation when I'm out smoking a stogie. Other regulars include Led Zeppelin, some Alex Skolnick Trio, and some good ol' Jaco.

Deeper than that...I'm talking cuts off the original prog-rock albums. "On The Threshold of a Dream", "Seventh Sojourn", that kind of stuff.

Tracks 99% of stations DON'T have in rotation!

Re: Music to smoke stogies to.......

I listen to sports-talk radio. My favorite music is too aggressive and angry to try to relax with a cigar.
