Willy,
Never would have guessed you as a CCR fan. Cool, I saw them (sans John Fogerty of course) live a couple of years back when they came through town. I also saw Lynyrd Skynyrd (sans Ronnie Van Zant of course) that same year. Great bands to see live.

Yeah i like their music, my dad likes a lot of music, from rock to jazz (Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Rolling Stones, Creedence, Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana*one of my favorites*, weather report, etc...)and have learned alot from him. we have a Vinil disc player and sometimes we put them my father, brother and me and jam to the great tunes

Re: What are you listening to?

Weather Report? I feel Wayne Shorter wasted some of his better years playing with WR

Miles Davis- Kind of Blue. Not much is better.

minor threat over fugazi

My first show was also in '86. G.B.H., Agnostic Front, Uniform Choice.

I didnt think anyone here would admit to liking Rufus Wainright, but he is really talented.

I keep going back to Jeff Buckley, Grace and Sketches For My Sweetheart the Drunk are amazing

In current rotation in the car
William Orbit- Pieces in a Modern Style
Brand New Heavies- Brand New Heavies
Charles Mingus- The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady
Starsailor- Silence is Easy
GoTan Project- La Revancha del Tango
Brian Wilson- SMILE

Re: What are you listening to?

My wife likes Rufus much more than I do, but I do enjoy his music. She saw him in concert last year. I unfortunately was in school that night.

Anyone enjoy Guster? It was pretty funny seeing the difference in popularity they achieved. The first time we saw them in concert, the venue had around 30,maybe 50 at the most, people there. Good time. The second time we saw them, about 4 months later at the same place, it was packed. Around 300-400 people. Not that big, I know, but still.
