    Pelican,

Those were great! Is she using a feather as a pick? It looked like it in the picture.

Here's one for you. A Blues number by John Hammond:

It's hard to beat this version.. I am a big tom waits fan...

Here is one of my favorites

Tom Waits - I´ll be gone (with lyrics on description) - YouTube

I am big into music I have listened to at least 4 thousand albums I goto opera's etc I have very few limits to what I will listen to... I have a soft spot though for the voice of a woman singing a song of death Freud would have a hay day with that...

I have to admit I liked Tom's version better than John's.

In a previous life I was an international touring and studio blues musician so I am most familiar with blues. Though I did Zydaco stints with Warren Ceaser and Cajun stints with Zachery Richard and Dr. John. Spent some time with Bo Diddly and he was more rock oriented. Other than those blues was mainly the medium. So I share your love of not only the leaf, but music as well. I'll have to check into more Tom Waits. I really like what you have shared. He has a unique style and take on things. And yeah -- I am sure Freud would have enjoyed having you on his couch... But in the morning we'll be gone...

Cool as his little Les Paul Mandolin is, you need to punctuate your posts better as that really made little sense.
