Oh and Glenn Danzig is a dick... anything after SamHain suck, IMHO. Was always a huge fan of the Mistfits, was even in the Fiend Club back in the day.

WHAT CLIFFHANGING (late 40s) TV SHOW WAS THE MISFITS SKULL ORIGINALLY FROM? i saw it for sale one day and figured i'd buy it... my son (when he was 2) loved watching it.

good call...
that's a funny show. the old times when it left you hangin til next week. of course, the girl would always jump out of the truck right before it would go over the cliff, etc. the good guy would get his ass beat, then hit each and every bad guy 1 time, and knock 'em cold???

Oh I agree that Glenn Danzig is not the friendliest of people and has a rather high opinion of himself but I just love his music. I was a semi Misfits fan, liked some of their stuff but didn't get heavy into it or anything. When Glenn did Samhain I started to pay a little more attention, you know it was a little heavier and a little more my speed. Then when the first Danzig came out I was blown away. It was exactly what I was looking for. Been an instant fan ever since. Loved all of his releases since then and have purchased everything he's put out thus far. I agree he's not that personable but hey I don't have to deal with him on a daily basis so I'm ok with that.

bad brains....
again, and as always.  i will be setting up my mongo stereo system in my basement soon, so who knows what i'll be listening to then (it's been in storage for about 5 yrs now... all that power wasting away....)
