I tend to listien to two little known bands.

1) the SeventySevens (77s). They have been around since the late 1970's and have everything from rock and blues to pop and instrumental. Heavy Zeplin infuences in some of their stuff. Check out some samplings at http://www.myspace.com/the77s

2) Tourniquet. A progressive heavy metal band started in 1990. They write much of their music in classical form and then convert it to heavy metal. Actually, some classical music is the heaviest music in the world. If you want to hear a great insturmental, see if you can find a song called "Immunity Vector". And if you like REALLY heavy...try the song "The Hand Trembler" on their myspace account http://www.myspace.com/tourniquetrocks

I have eclectic tastes, but I still cannot palate most rap and most modern country. But I love Johnny cash!
