Your B&M

So fellow NH folks, what is your favorite B&M? Do you split your purchases between the store and the web?

I've been known to hit two different places:

Castro's Back Room

Holy Smokes

Holy Smokes sells online also. They have some unbelievable sales (the first weekend in Feb they did 30% off everything) so sign up for their mailing list.

They are also opening a 2Guys Smoke Shop in the old Hooters on DW Highway in Nashua. I got an email from them not too long ago saying they would be opening hopefully in April, as they have hit a few snags recently in the construction.

Enjoy, and share your store!

I wish. Hooters went out of business in the NH area (I think all of New England Actually) so 2Guys is using the space. The restaurant used actually be DB Cooper's for years (can anyone tell me who that was?). The space itself has a huge footprint, I'm really looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it is done.

forgot one, it's in North Conway, center of town. There was a nice young lady on this board who worked there but I haven't seen her in a while. Lobsterkmd was her screen name.

Wow thanks for the news. BTW- D.B. Coooper is the guy who jumped out of a commercial air flight with a suitcase full of stolen money back in the 80s. Jack Walsh (the former owner) was an enthusiastic skydiver. I used to frequent there and even worked at the place for a spell. Once upon a time there was a great bar crowd in there and the bartenders were super. Hooters was such a joke I am glad it's gone. Really excited about a new smoke shop. Have been going to Good Times (Amherst Street) and Castro's Back Room. Would like to see Casto's finish the upstairs and Good Times build it's long promised smoking lounge and settle their legal woes. They got bagged by some overzealous F.B.I. rookie with too much time on his hands for selling drug paraphenalia (water pipes). I guess that means the F.B.I. has the terrorist threat well in hand and they can concentrate on the really important issues now.

Hey anybody up for a Springtime herf???? We should make it so when the weather clears. I have a good sized deck and would be willing to host on a nice Saturday or Sunday.

I jump across the border after work from Townsend MA into Brookline NH and hit my fav B&M Tobacco Haven. HUGE walk-in humidor and an informal smoking area. Their prices are at list for singles (even the popular ones) and boxes I've bought are less than online (not even considering shipping) by $10, $20. Oh and next door is a NH State Liquor Store.

I actually don't live too far from that shop, and have heard good things from others about it. I might have to take a ride out there and check it out....

Accoding to Cigarcyclopedia.com there is a Perdomo tasting at Tobacco Haven this Saturday (March . Thought I'd let you know since this seems to be a favorite of yours. Looks like a good excuse for a nice drive this Saturday. I'll definitely be there.

Thanks guys for the heads up and info. I have to work Saturday but usually I venture up there after work. Sometimes I catch the tail end of those tastings. It's a friendly bunch of guys that hang out there in the back. You'll feel like a kid in a candy store when you see that walk-in. What time would you guys be there because sometimes I have an easy day and I'm done early?
