Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
I love this place. A bit on the rustic side, but they are always very friendly and I always take the time for a coffee and a smoke when I'm up visiting North Conway with my wife. A great escape from the shops or a break from the outdoors. Great R&R.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
This is a good store. I myself was never a consumer there, but when I was 14 I lived in North Conway and during one summer my family and I were in the village and my dad stopped in there and picked up a cigar. I remember thinking how cool the place was because of the chairs and lounge and what a awesome vary of cigars they had there. (At the time I knew crap about cigars, but I was astounded by how many there where lol) anyways, my dad got a cigar, that has a skull and cross bones on it, think it's called a rum runner. They cut it there for him with a guillotine cigar cutter , and I don't mean a normal cigar cutter, it was a large one that was fashioned to look like a guillotine from Mid-evil times. If I recall correctly.
This place brings back a found memory. ![]() I would recommend it if your in the N.Conway area.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
I think I went there last year during vacation. We went up to N. Conway and stayed a couple of days. Bought a few cigars, but didn't smoke em there because the other three people with me don't smoke. Very nice store though.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
Jonathan the owner is top notch at this store. He has a great selection and it's a real low pressure place to stop in, look around and enjoy cigars.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
Sent you a pm, but I'll post it here also. It's on the south end of the strip in north conway. If you are heading north, once you start to get into the buildings and have shuler(sp?) park on the left, it's on the right side, near the movie theater and before seavey street. There is a big cigar store indian standing out front with a little fenced in sitting area and inside there are more seats.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
I was just in there a few weeks ago.
A nice cozy store and the proprietor was very friendly. The selection is a bit on the small side, but it did include some good, interesting sticks. A little bit more expensive than my usual B&Ms in the southern part of the state, but outrageous.

Re: North Conway-Village Cigar Emporium
Hit it up this weekend...3 sticks with the wife getting turned onto belgian vanilla smokes. Great afternoon coffee...even better having wine and a nice CAO Mx2. We closed the place and enjoyed it completely. Constant flow of patrons kept us amused as it seemed busier than some of the bars we'd been in. Thanks for the hospitality Jonathan!
