The name is roger... I live in a country where what I do for a living is not strictly... um.. .legal (though it would be most places in the world - including the US of A). Thus I will always have to be somewhat vague about where I live. sorry about that, but understand its a pre-req for me.
I'm from the states. colorado. I started smoking cigars on occassion when my father introduced me to them when I was 10. I smoked a hooka extensively when I lived in the middle east for two years in High school. Then I learned to smoke a traditional pipe from my youth pastor in 11th grade (he was pretty much awesome). I went to the University of Colorado where I started smoking pipes regularly with some buddies.
I've lived overseas now for 7 years consecutively. 11 total. This 7 years all in one country though I've moved around a bit. When I first moved here I gave my collection of about 6 pipes to a friend because I figured I wouldn't be able to buy pipe tobacco here, which was true until recently.
I had my friend ship the collection to me about 5 months ago, and I've gotten back in to my love for smoke. Not much is available for tobacco here, which is a total bummer, but I do what I can.
Look forward to talking with yall more.
I have a mega-beard, I'm 28 years old, I smell terrible most of the time (and my wife doesn't care... WIN!), and in addition to smoking my passions are mostly running, and writing.
