first time, long time

hey all.

first time poster, long time stoker.

well, not too long--10 years now.

i am not as heavy a smoker as most of you probably are. i have two young kids and a demanding job. here in NY you can't smoke in public places, which has greatly diminished my chances for enjoyment.

i usually buy myself one box each april--i call it my summer stash. as a former NYC resident (now upstade) i am drawn to buy my first ever box of Nat Sherman, the University. I have had one before I am sure, but don't have memory of it.

I like a medium body smoke, which i think these are (even to mild is fine). i picked up the R&J Reale natural the other day (one toro one robusto) and am liking those a lot, so am wondering on anyones experience with the NS university.

when i had more time, i had more cigars. my main 2 were the excaslibur III and the el rey robusto, the dark oscuro one with the cheesecloth wrapper. i do like the stronger cigars as well, but as i have aged my tastes have mellowed a little. those heavier cigars are great for after dinner, but i am mainly smoking my stogies during the day while i am putsing around, and find need for lighter fare.

thanks guys and gals!

Re: first time, long time

welcome to the jungle Tony. great place here for information or just hangin' around.

don't know much about the NS, though. only had one, and it wasn't my cup o' tea. i'm sure you'll get some better feedback soon.

Welcome to CS Tony, I have no experience with NS either. ERDM and HDM's are excellent..
