Angry New Guy Intro

I guess as of right now I"m the newest new guy, so hello.
I am a jet engine mechanic in the US Air Force and am currently stationed in the middle east. I am based out of Texas and am also a native Texan.
I am a fairly new smoker. I smoked some cheap cigars in high school and my early twentys and then went over seas and had a commanding officer that smaked cigars and liked to hand them out. I started enjoying smoking more but still feel like I am don't have a favorite. Just enjoy trying new cigars and sharing smoking and info with good people.
I look forward to being a part of this online group and reading what yall have to say and maybe adding my own two cents every so often.

Welcome to the jungle and thank you for your service to this country

This may be your last chance to save yourself from the steep slope. Don't tell anyone that I told you, but there are some gorillas here that will give you a big push down the slope and the next thing you know, your in a free fall towards the abyss

Take care and don't say I didn't warn you.

Re: New Guy Intro

"The Slope" is when you discover a cigar that you REALLY like.

Then another one.

Then another one.

You ditch your small desktop humidor for a 100 count.

You decide that you want to buy a box or 2 of the cigars you really like.

Suddenly a 100 count humidor is too small, so you buy another one the same size, thinking you will never possibly fill both of them.

Then you discover more cigars that you really like.

Then you start reading about "coolerdors" and "fridgerdors" and decide something like "Hmmm, I could use my 100 count humi for ready to smoke cigars and get a small cooler to store boxes in".

Then you run out of room in the cooler.

See you at the bottom.

PERFECT explanation.
Welcome to Club Stogie... its like the Hotel California: "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."

Could not have said it better but I might add that when it comes to humidity control, start with beads and you will never look back.

Thanks again
