just started to smoke cigars. have read many items online especially here at
top 25. as a cigarette smoker i hope i will be able to pick up the subtleties
of cigars. have been smoking cigars for a few months and have really enjoyed
and have in my humidor onxy reserve #4, partagas black label and hoyo de
monterrey maduro. all similiar but different. its nice to take an hr or so in the evening and sit back with a smoke. looking forward to learning more from

Welcome to CS. You can learn a lot from this place. It looks like our South Florida crew is growing. We should put together a herf.

Yes I'm in South Florida, 10 minutes south of you, in Hialeah. There isn't really a cigar shop around that isn't a bit pricy. I usually buy my singles from Vilar Cigars, but that is over by The Falls mall. Another good shop is Sabor Habana in the Doral area but I don't know of any place closer to you. My recomendation to you is to buy five packs from JR or any other retailer online(there is a good list here somewhere) and sample as many cigars as you can, there are lot of good ones out there, and it can take a while to get to them all. But that's the fun of this hobby. Now this place is the devil:www.cigarbid.com, and you will find out soon why. Anyways some times people get carried away and bid too much on the cigars, but every now and then something will go under the radar and you can get a good deal. Bidding early is my tactic. Good luck!
