Newbie Question
I guess this has probably been covered before, but I'm curious: how much @#&*!!!! do you get from your wives about your cigar hobby ? smoking, buying, on the computer etc,etc.

Lots, lots, lots, and lots. I hide my credit card bills now. She just doesn't get it. I never complain about her 20 or so pairs of shoes or the walk in closet full of her clothes. Ah well, its good to rant.

Zero. Nada. Fortunately for me, it's alot less expensive than my other hobbies, both financially and the time I spend on it. And we have separate accounts. Saves my butt alot. Scott"aboveboard"M

We have seperate bank accounts & credit card bills. I also meet the brown truck, or have the cigars sent to a business in town & then just pick them up & sneak them in the house after she falls asleep.

We have seperate bank accounts & credit card bills which saves a lot of grief. I also get home before she does so 99.9% of the time I get the mail or the packages from the delivery companies. That way the cigars are all nestled away for there naps before she gets home.
I'm also building a new stroker engine for her 67 cougar so the bills for the engine parts makes the cigars look like a bargain.

I don't get crap from her, but she doesn't understand it either.
I'll say "I need some more cigars." She'll say "Why? You've got some in your humidor." I'll say "Yes, but I need more!" She'll just roll her eyes. I will have to say that she was going to buy me an Opus X for our anniversary since I'm too cheap to buy it for myself. She was just afraid she'd get the wrong one though, so I'm still a virgin on the Opus. Gotta love her for the thought though!!! Mel |

Mine doesn't say much about it as long as I take care of all her honey do's around the house and send her a nice gift on special days.
