Re: Newbie checking into new habitat

Welcome to CS!

I like your name, it reminds me of the empty bottles of Calistoga sparkling water and cigar butts I have cluttering up my car. I need to clean my car.

Re: Newbie checking into new habitat

A fine, cheerful hello to all.
Another Newbie here too. Living in NY, upstate, Suburbs of Albany that is.
Doing the solo-herf thing this eve. A La gloria cubana that is a mere 6 months old. Been smoking sticks for maybe 5 years or so and about 7-8 months ago got the big promotion at work (big for me anyway )and finally bought a semi decent humidor and have started stocking it to age some of those babies.
Of course I have the vino flowing.

-Favorite Stick (so far) Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Box pressed
-Favorite Fluid-Shakespear Stout by the Oregon Brewery, you kind of have to chew before swallowing it, goes great with a nice Maduro.
-Favorite Bean - A double of espresso from Paolo Lombardi's Italian Rest.

BTW IMHO the La Gloria is getting an 85, quite good, even burn, easy draw, nice flavor, very nice constuction not as rich as I would like but quite good.

Thanks to all and have an excellent evening.

Ken

Gidday Kenstogie, how ya doing mate.
Welcome to CS the best place to Wine, Dine, Drink your Fav Beer or a nice Brew...... oh and a Cigar or two of course.

You may want to start your own welcome thread though, just so all the BOTL & SOTL see you arrive and can welcome you in turn. That way your welcome won't get lost in this one.

Cheers
Jason

Welcome! Another nice thing about CS is the free medical advice. We are all doctors so don't hesitate to ask us anything.
