Greetings from Richmond VA!
Hello all! New to the forum and I've made a few posts already, but thought I'd stop in here and introduce myself properly. My name is Michael and I've been smoking cigars for about ten years now. I started off with the el cheapo ones you pick up at gas stations and drug stores ( you know the types). Ironically I started because I thought smoking cigars would make me look more mature and sophisticated (yea, by smoking white owls and Jewel Hav-a-Tampas).

But after I grew up and started buying "real" cigars. My current favs are Gurkhas, Davidoffs (when I can afford them) and Ashtons. I mostly prefer mild to medium bodied cigars, but I've been really getting into the full body ones too lately! I just bought a bunch of Olivas and I'm looking forward to them. I've only had my humidor for about a year and I'll most likely ask lots of dumb questions (but I'll be sure to do a search first).

Well, I've rambled on long enough.

I know! Seems like I'm all over the place, but I'm finding that the spicier they are, the more I'm liking them! But sometimes, I just want a nice mellow smoke after work and I'm not looking to catch that nic buzz, ya know?

Richmond, in the east end. Thanks guys for all of the warm welcomes! Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I've been reading one thread after another here! Geez, there is so much to learn here! And I see so many deals on sticks that I've missed out on, hopefully there will be more! Just found out about cigarbid.com from here! That place just might become my new favorite one stop shop!

I've only got a 25 count desktop humi right now, methinks it may be time to grab a bigger one (but I may have trouble getting that past the finance committee as we have a baby on the way)! I guess I just need to stop reading the cigar review forum!
