Hi Everyone,
My name is Heather. I live in Chico, Ca with my husband and our new baby. I am originally from Hercules, Ca.

I don't smoke cigars but my husband just started recently and likes to teach me everything about them!

I decided to join this site because I really enjoy buying things for my husband and I thought I could get good ideas from everyone here on what cigars and cigar accessories to buy him.

Right now we buy just ones that he hears are good and one's that the woman at our local cigar shop recommends. He just got some Illusionne 88s. He likes Punch Rothchilds, JMs "for a cheap smoke", Baccarats, and many others that I can't remember the name of right now. I wanted to get him a few really nice cigars for Valentine's Day...have any suggestions?

One thing you will find from checking online retailers, is that their prices are much lower than ours here in California. Taxes in most other states are significantly lower and therefore prices are much more affordable. It is always good to support you local B & M with singles purchases, but most of you box purchases will be done online. Check cigarcyclopedia.com for a great price comparison guide.

Welcome, what a thoughtful partner you are. There are a few other members near Chico, I am 80 miles north in Redding. The local B & M Bidwell's is owned by Marcus Daniel Morine, a very good tobacconist and I believe the women that is usually in there is his fiancee the last I heard. Her name is Julia and very well versed with tobacco as well. Bidwells has a few very good house blends along with an excellent selection of high end cigars.
