I have smoked just about everything possible and we'll stop at that. Pipes in the past, currently about a year of real cigars. Just got and setup my first humidor (50 ct Colibi (sp)). I can't explain what I like just yet, just know what does and doesn't work.

Hampton Roads is rich will all the services. At least 4 Navy bases, 1 Air Force base, 3 Army bases and 2 Coast Guard commands. I'm sure a bunch a little ones I have no clue about. What was your service?

Welcome. I agree with you on most points. Especially #3 and 4. With #3/the stickys, there is a ton of info in them and the discussion does make it hard to find things sometimes, as well with #4. We joke around on here a lot and it could be several replies to a question before it is answered, and usually they are only partly answered. Plus, the search has to have at least "4 letters" (the return i'm getting on that), and in my case (not sure about the other B/SOTLs here) but when I try to search for something, the search doesn't count spaces and it takes just the first word--that's annoying b/c i can't search for the PIF thread by just typing in PIF--it says "need more than 4 words". Rant, sorry, but a little addition to #4 there.

Thanks for the tip on searches. I'm not I would have figured that out. I also gotta figure out teh rules here on thread jacking. It doesn't seem to be an issue here. I'm on a few forums where thread jacking will get you "admonished" about as quick as my "newbie willing to do a trade" did here in the wrong place. Just a matter of spending some time hanging around.

Haha, you gotta love Clint Eastwood! Eventually hoping to get all his movies via DVD. Right now need to get the Rawhide series if they're out.
And thread jacking, yeah, not much of that goes on here, but can't say it doesn't happen. We do have some great mod's around here and they try to keep us inline.

I just wanted to say excellent post. My prefered comment is about the stickies. I have gotten a reply or two that the answer to my question lies inside a sticky... But man are there alot of stickies!!!

They are excellent for information, but sometimes it is a bit hard to find the specific thing you are looking for amongst so many.

#4 has been an issue with me!!! I think that a "discusion" forum should be open to discusion. Everyone tells me to "search". if I wanted to search I would buy an encyclopeidia.

I want to talk to others that enjoy the same interests as I do. learn from them and have a good time!
