Chgo Western Burbs - Newbe
Only a newbe to forums, been smoking cigars on and off for 25 years. I think that the offerings today are better than ever. I like a full bodied strong cigar I'm particularly fond of Padilla, Don Pipin Garcia, 601, A little Miami joint called El Titan de Bronze and many more. I like to drink Single Malts, Ports and other fine wines with my cigars. I have a favorite B&M with a good cigar selection a nice lounge area and a warm and friendly owner (I havent read all the rules yet so I wont mention by name) I have just gone through a restocking of my personal humidor with about 200 new sticks. I'm interested in any Herf's in the Chicago Western burbs and plan on having a few on my deck when it warms up again...I work in the IT Consulting world for a major Hardware/Software vendor as a Global Practice Manager and my wife and I are also Realtors. If I make any mistakes in my posts please be kind.

OK the B&M is Burning Leaf on RT 59 and 134th in Plainfield. I spent about 4 hours there today with a San Cristobal, Oliva Series V (Double Toro) and a LFD Lig. all good and came home and after dinner had a Punch Rothschild Maduro - Life was good today.

I'm in the Chicago 'burbs too....Look under the MoB Herf thread, the Illinois and Wisconsin members have a herf the second Saturday of almost every month, alternating between IL and WI....although the Feb. version will be in Florida. You are welcome to join us at any of them and meet some other BOTLs.
