I've used a steno notebook for over a year, pasting the ring band with a 1-5 rating and addt'l comments about aroma, draw, size, cost etc.

Perhaps a column for links to reviews, scanned bands or what not!

Hi guys,

I downloaded the CigarBriefcase (v 1.2) free of the internet. It works well for me. I don't know how it relates to other apps and spreadsheet but I liked this.

Alright Gents, the newest edition has the following features:

A column for scanned pictures (i.e. band)
A column for links to reviews/sellers
How long it had been in your humidor
Number remaining in your humidor
Rating column, including taste, finish, draw burn buz and impression (you can wieght these differently)
Comments column
Auto computing overall rating
Auto Generating reviews for posting on CS
A humidor page, listing out up to 5 humidors which auto updates according to how many cigars you have.

Wow! What a great application. I started my own a while back and it captures just a few basic things. Instead of tasting notes, I've got a pricing section so I can look back and see what I've paid in the past for my favorite smokes and also to help know when a new offer is actually a good one. I also track my trades/gifts like the PIF or Newbie Sampler trade so I know what went out and what came in versus sticks I have smoked myself or purchased.

I'd love to get a copy of your's!

Jason, I really wish you'd make this available where we can all download it, rather than having to chase you down for every version? I never received the last Email, probably for the same reasons why you have trouble connecting to ClubStogie from time to time.

Wouldn't it make sense to have a place where you can always upload the newest version for us, and that we can download it without having to hope you connect to get the message? ClubStogie has an FTP directory for us Gorillas to use.

Just my two cents. It really doesn't make sense to have to do it via Email.
