Hello from the Oregon coast
Howdy folks. Been smoking cheapies and pouch cigars from the local mini-mart on and off for the past 15 yrs. Decided to finally step up to the real thing. Been checking out various vendors and sites for about two weeks now. Found this site about a week ago, nice place with a lot of info. I kinda jumped in with both feet and ordered two 25 count and one 1 hundred count humi. To go in them I have about 90 stix in about 40 varities coming. Now I just have to close in the back porch so I have somewhere to enjoy them.

Welcome Jim.

You didn't jump in with both feet, you just stuck your toe in. I started with a 25 count and now have that, a 150, and a cooler. All in just over a year. Next stop is an Aristocrate.

There are a couple guys on here that live in Portland, we herf a couple times a month. Let us know if you would like to join us sometime (know that its quite a drive). Where abouts are you?

Welcome to ClubStogie, pakrat! Good to see another Oregonian on the boards.

Be careful wading out in these treacherous waters. It may seem smooth and gradual but the sea-floor likes to fall off really steeply a short distance out. I started off with a 25 ct humi, and now I have a 48 qt. cooler I'm storing various cigars in (and just purchased a wine chiller that I may or may not convert into cigar storage duty!). Ah well... what matters the most is it's a hobby that you enjoy.
