Long time lurker, first time poster (Oregon)
I wanted to start off by giving a thanks to everyone here at Club Stogie. I have learned an incredible amount about my newest hobby from you all and plan to continue learning here at Club Stogie.

My first cigar was on a cruise ship. I honestly have no idea what it was, my wife had picked it up while we were in Jamaica. I have tried my best to try a new cigar each week since in order to figure out what truly suits my tastes. So far I feel like I've had a good mix of strengths and flavors, I prefer a stronger cigar and maduro wrappers (up to this point anyway!). My wife and I are headed to Vegas soon and I plan to get my hands on an Opus at Casa Fuente to see if it lives up to the hype. Thanks again everyone, I look forward to chatting with all of you!

Sounds like you're pretty close to my 'hood in Happy Valley. We usually meet up at the Horse Brass on Belmont, or the Shilo Inn in Beaverton. I don't think I'm the only who who now expects you to be at the next one...

Welcome Steve. You'll soon learn that Tripp expecting someone to be at a herf has a level of humor that can't be expressed except through heart stopping gasping for breath as you pick yourself up off the floor. But we love him anyway.
