[SIZE=3][SIZE=3][/SIZE][SIZE=3]I was a cigarette smoker for 12 years and quit 3 years ago. I just started smoking cigars 3 months ago. I like the whole not inhaling thing and really dig the flavors versus the whole cigarette, no flavor, and needing one very hour thing – yuck.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]My first cigar was when I was in Vegas (first time) to see Tool (one of my favorite bands) play @ the pearl.. After seeing them play the final night of their tour ,My fiancé and myself decide to see Freemont street. After seeing the light show I saw a cigar cart. I then decided to dance with the devil……The cigar cart recommended an Ashton Magnum and it was just simply yummy. I have since purchased a Shiloh 150 CT humidor – which is on its way – and have allowed myself 1-2 cigars a week. Or should I say it has been agreed with my fiancé I can have 1-2. a week. Cant wait to start seasoning. [/SIZE][SIZE=3]So far I am really digging the heavy bodied cigars. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Cigars I have tried so far that I don’t dig are-[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Montesino Robusto – Natural leaf - No flavor what’s so ever[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Ashton 898 – Same as above… Yuck [/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]All the heavy full - maduros cigars I have had I loved.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]One more thing – This is site is a GREAT resource. I found where to buy my humidor @ a trusted site – barghinhumidors – and have read a lot of reviews. It was nice to see the humidor I bought for 59.99 being sold out @ my local shop for 180.00.[/SIZE]

If you are ever in the KOP area check out international tobacco at the KOP mall. The prices aren't setting the world on fire but it is great place to grab a smoke and a coffee while the lady get's her shop on.

Gotta love Philly. You've got Holt's. Pat's. Even the Geator! And some of the best Chinese food on the East Coast.

I am partial to the Rocky Patel Edge, which I order on a regular basis from Holt's. If you haven't had one, give it a try. As a former cigarette smoker too, I share your affection for hard-core cigars. And an Edge will stand up to any hot sauce you might get down at Eighth and Passyunk!! (Don't bother with the Edge Light -- not the same by any means).
