New cigar fan in L.A.

Hi. I quit cigarette smoking almost 6 months ago, and I've recently discovered the wonderful world of cigars. I'd smoked cheap ones a couple of times, but I recently went to a wedding and was given a Padron. It was great! I had no idea what I had been missing.

All I can say is "Cigars, where have you been all my life?!?!"

I made a deal w/ my fiancee. If I never pick up a cigarette again, she'll never, ever give me crap about cigars. I think that's a fair deal.

I've since been experimenting with different varieties, and I'm having a blast. Then I found this place. Very cool digs you folks have here.

I hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Ahhh, just finished smoking a HdM Dark Sumatra Espresso. Tasty little thing it is. Welcome to CS. Love your blog. Seems to me like rather extreme Lambertitarianism, but what do I know?

Thumbs up Re: New cigar fan in L.A.

Nice to make your acquaintance. I too quit smoking and took up the leaf. I wouldn't go back for the world... Make yourself at home and stay a while. Interesting blog by the way. Attempting to speak for the middle in an ever more polarized world is a worthy endeavor. Good luck with that.
