Hello from MD
Hello everyone, my name is Shawn and I am from Maryland. I have smoked Cigars for quite a few years but nothing on a daily or even weekly basis. Well time and money finally permits me to get into cigar smoking the way I have always wanted to

My wife came to me the other day and said she was buying me a humidor for Christmas and asked me to pick one out. " Love this woman" . So I am now in the process of looking them over online. I think I am going with a 150 or 200 humidor. I am also alowed to smoke anywhere in the house because she loves the smell of a good cigar.

Well just wanted to say hello and nice site. Lurked for a while before joining.

The best advice I can give you is to buy the largest humidor you can afford. It will fill up more quickly than you can imagine.

Welcome to CS!

Might I suggest that if your considering a 100 or 200 count humi, times that by 20, then maybe you'll have enough room for a few months. Think BIG! Then go a couple sizes bigger!

Thanks guys for the welcome. The humidor choice is bigger then I originally thought I'd use. I was going to get a 50 but after reading your recommendations and tips I decided to get the 200.

Yes my wife is great and I am a very lucky man.

Welcome to CS! Bigger is better, but that just means more room to spend money on cigars! Personally, I like the idea of a humidor. I keep my everyday smokes and singles in there, with boxes in my Edison-a-dor. Enjoy your stay in the jungle!
