Hi all!
From Hav-a-tampa's in college to enjoying real smokes today, I've had a soft spot in my heart for a good cigar. Lately, I've been offererd real experiences from my good friend Navy Doc at our monthly cigar social. Wow! what I've been missing! The fringe hobby has turned into a joyful mild obsession! Even my wife loves a good cigar with me.
I'm an Optometrist in private practice and enjoy a good short smoke on the way home. I am looking for suggestions for that short 30 minute smoke that puts a smile on my face after a rough day.
I also enjoy a good single malt, classic cars ( I own a '66 Jag XKE), and sports.
If any of you have any questions concerning your eyes, glasses, contact lenses, etc., don't hesitate to post me. Navy Doc has told me all about how this group works together, and I am excited about joining!!!

Welcome to CS, Eyedoc. For a quick smoke, I would suggest rummaging through Paul's humidor for the smallest sticks you can find.

Seriously though, clubs are great. There are also a number of good threads dealing with smaller cigars.

Short smokes I like include San Cristobal El Principe, Ramon Allones small club corona, Partagas shorts, Diplomaticos No. 5, and more easily found CAO Braziia Piranhas and Camacho Corojo Machitos.

Hey eyedoc, welcome to CS. Im surprised it hasnt been mentioned yet, but the A. Fuente Hemmingway Short Story is a great quick smokes, one of my favorite all around.

I also have a 30 minute commute and I enjoy LFD Double Ligero's(small chisel), CAO's, the new REO's, La Aroma De Cuba, just to name a few.
