Kicked down the slope!
Hey all,

I'm sure I would have gotten here eventually, but when my father-in-law upgraded his humidor and gave me his old one it was like being thrown down the slope face first!

I've smoked a couple with him in the recent past and enjoyed them, though I don't know what they were. After looking at the sad, empty humidor for about a month now I decided it was time to man up and do something about it.

I'm a cigar noob in every since of the word, but I've got a sampler and accessories coming in from CI next week to celebrate the start of this adventure, hopefully my wallet can keep up

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I've been reading posts most of my waking hours for the last couple of days (shame on you all BTW, I was supposed to be working while at work today!), and I just can't believe the amazing atmosphere and generosity here.. it's like nothing I've seen anywhere else on the 'net.

I'm already looking into beads and coolidors, and my little 20 count humidor is sitting empty while I wait for my first CI shipment... hah!
