Hello from our Nation's Capitol...
Great looking forum here guys. The cigar community is defiantly a lot different then the car community. I'm an active member of prob 12 forums and I have never saw so many guys willing to give. The fact that you guys anonymously send gifts to other members is beyond anything I've seen. Kudos...

I've just started smoking about a month ago and am a n00b in all facets. A friend gave me a humidor Friday with some smokes in it. Only problem is it had been @ 35% humidity for an extended period of time. I removed the cigars, in hopes to revive them, and re-season the humi. I plan on leaving the smokes in ziplock bags (with holes poked in them) for 2 weeks, then place damp sponge (with distilled h20) in the bag for another 2 weeks, then place in the humi.

That is a nice humi, make sure you take the time to re-season it properly and also give the cigars plenty of time (probably atleast a month) before you smoke them.
