Good Morning Richard, here's an interesting idea. You may at some point in time want to put together a list of names/address (possible web sites if appropriate) of some of the local B&M's and/or fabricas in and around the San Jose area, and post it on the "General Cigar Forum" for member to peruse. I think this would be a valuable guide for some of our CS members who may visit the beautiful country of Costa Rica in the future. If done right, it could just become a "valuable" sticky on the forum here. Just a thought. Have a great day...

Re: Greetings from sunny Costa Rica

Thanks MarkinCA. That is a great idea.

The only problem that I can see is that there are no real "set" addresses here. You may have to explain a location by meters, directions (NSEW) color of building and roofs plus any necessary land marks.

Amazingly, cab drivers can find any location and my mail does arrive.

Re: Greetings from sunny Costa Rica

what are your favorite smokes, richard? Do you smoke them every day, or do you have daily smokes, which wrappers do you favor? Full bodied or mild?

Re: Greetings from sunny Costa Rica

replicant_argent,

I suggest the cubans with a full flavor. Cohibas and maybe once a week.
I have found that the dominicans are also good. the costa rican cigars are not bad as well and sometimes, I like a mild cigar after dinner.
