Western Iowa
New soul here from, well, read the subject line . . .
Gave up cigarettes last year, and just started the cigar thing a couple of weeks ago. Got a humi last Friday, Still curing with a ramekin full of distilled water, will likely add beads in the near future. I have tried a few sticks, prefer mostly mild to med so far (and wifey likes the very mild). Have developed a taste for (gasp) Also like Montecristos, my boss used to bring them to company off-site gatherings since I don't drink any more (and yes, this does mean I DO drink any less). Have found a wealth of info here already (the newbie guide of what to buy should keep me very busy for awhile, btw that is a great idea). I gotta say, it is a great relaxation technique to sit outside in a comfy chair, with the decent weather we have finally had (was a loooooong winter), and just relax and enjoy the pleasure of a decent stick. Is anyone aware of downoadable pod casts that pertain to this little hobby / obsession? I am always looking to learn. Thanks to all and good smokin'. Chris |

Re: Western Iowa
Welcome!
As far as podcasts, www.dogwatchsocialclub.com and www.burghherfers.com/podcast.html are both good. |
