I've been lurking around for a month or so and thought I would finally introduce myself.


My name is John and I am a Cigaraholic.

Up until earlier this year, I had been smoking whatever the local place recommended about once a year, also picking up a sampler when I saw a deal. Then I got a sampler that included a humidor, and knowing nothing about humidors I found this site to condition and take care of it.

Then someone mentioned the devil site.
Then I needed a larger humidor.
Then I needed a larger humidor.
Then I needed a larger climate controlled humidor cause someone posted a picture of a nasty insect that haunt my dreams.
Oh, and now I have beads, because obviously the stock humidifiers with 70/70 solution can not do as good of a job(at least that's what I keep telling myself).
Oh, and now I have digital hygrometers, because analog ones are not nearly accurate enough(at least that's what I keep telling myself).

Now I need another case of Port(good thing I work at a winery), a large ashtray, and apparently a Palio(surely my existing cutter is not doing a good enough job).

I thank you all of the information provided thus far and hope you will visit me in the poor house when I eventually get there.
