A real n00b from Maryland
Hello!

I've been lurking around here for a while, but since I won the Devil's Weed sampler from Mr. Puro (thanks!) I figured that I should introduce myself.

I had my first cigar a little under two months ago. In fact, I'm such a noob that as of tomorrow, it will be two months since I was first legally able to buy tobacco products.

Luckily, I have a B&M ten minutes from my house, so I decided to buy myself my first cigar as an eighteenth birthday present. I went in with the mindset that I would smoke it and hate it, but at least I could say that I smoked a cigar.

So I went home, lit up my fresh Castro Brothers Blue Ridge Maduro Corona, and thought, "Hey! This is pretty good!" So I went back again. And again. And again. And again. This past time, I got a Humipack so I wouldn't have to go back for singles so many times.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I just figured I'd give some background on myself. I'm looking forward to posting and learning more.

Rompson, great to see another fellow n00b from Maryland as well! I am also a long time lurker, first time poster in from the White Marsh/Towson area.

Up until recently, smokes were reserved for special occasions, but I got married a month ago and my wife got me an engraved 50-stick humi for a wedding gift. Since then I have frequented The Humidour (shop/lounge on York Road in Timonium) and began to stock up. The Nub Cigar event they hosted was a great time!

Anyways, a hello to you from a fellow Marylander, and a thanks to everyone for a warm welcome to a fantastic forum!
