Nooblet
Well, here goes. I am a total novice to cigars but I recently became interested in them earlier this year. I decided to take the plunge but had no idea where to start. I've smoked a few here and there; choices are usually made my my nodding when I hear the words, "Here, you should try this one." I just bought a humidor on eBay, so it should be here within the week.
So that's the entire sum of my cigar experience. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I'm a master's student of psychology. I enjoy wine and food, so exploring the world of fine tobacco seemed the next logical step. I heard about this forum at a party over the weekend, it sounded like a good resource for a nooblet such as myself. I hope that in time I can learn enough to make a lasting contribution to the forum. I've spent the last day checking out many of the FAQ pages, as well as the rules. I look forward to diving into my new hobby and I welcome any advice, recommendations or other pearls of wisdom from experienced smokers. |
