Newbie in the ocean

Another newb here
Hello all. I've been watching the boards here for a couple of weeks now. Well the time has come for me to join. Everyone here seems to know alot about what their talking about, and it seems to be a fairly friendly board. I'm fairly new to the world of cigars and am in the process of quiting smoking and switching over to stogies. I look forward to my time on this board and getting to know and become a part of what seems to be a close knit community.

Welcome to the jungle, Josh! Hope we can help you make the transition easily. If you're new to cigars (like I am) and you're looking to get a little experience with new stuff, I'd highly recommend you check out the newbie sampler thread and try some new stuff, maybe make some new friends. Enjoy your stay here! (oh, and just some advice, don't listen to anything I say, I'm kind of a moron

Welcome to Club Stogie!
Since you're weening yourself off of cigarettes, I would recommend that you try something like the Padron 2000's or Delicias. Our idea of what is mild, med, or full bodied, is a little different than those who don't smoke cigarettes. You'll find that the less you smoke cigarettes, the more your sense of taste and smell will return. It is for me at least. It's also a plus that getting over a cold helps get one in the right direction.
