Welcome to Club Stogie! I still make over the top purchases from time to time after a few hours of partaking of adult beverages.......as far as that goes, I do it perfectly sober too!

I know what your talking about. Are they the uber-nice lofted apartments with the big windows above TwistyCs? Can't remember if there's any others, maybe on top of Dusty Bookshelf?

Don't know about uber-nice...at least not 10 years ago. The ones I'm talking about were in the building across the street from Auntie Maes with the obnoxiously steep stairway leading up to them.

Oh god, I know those. I had a couple friends live in one with a bay window directly across from Auntie Maes. Passed out once on top of that stairway because I was too drunk and scared to try to go down them. That occurred sometime during the morning of January 1st. The whole hallway had its doors open and it was one big party.
We wondered into one at the far end of the hallway and saw this wonderful menagerie. Here's a picture of my good friend and roommate at the time violating a plastic donkey with Jesus looking down in shame:

Me coming to discover this forum is just the end of another rather amusing downhill sliding I keep seeing people refer to on this awesome forum.

It started at CI's website which I religiously fill and alter shopping carts of cigars, samplers, and deals - usually never hitting that cursed checkout button. I had gotten down to only 3-4 of the cigars I first started smoking (Cuban Honeys Vanilla Corona - say what you want) and needed a new box. Well, I had been at a party that night and had smoked a Rocky Patel Old World Reserve and a Natural by Drew Estate (Root) with a friend (and of course many great Boulevard Wheat and New Belgium Mothership Wit beers). I absolutely loved both cigars so upon stumbling back to my apartment I went online and proceeded to order my new box of Cuban Honeys and some Naturals and RPs. The RPs were kinda (and by that I mean very) out of my price range so I settled on a few along with some Nubs and RP Fusions in CI's Single's deal. Now, I really liked the Naturals and CI had a good freebie so I added the 24 box to my oder despite the (in my world) high price tag. Price tag totaled over 200 bucks, but I wanted those damn cigars and I was not exactly sober.

Soooo.....upon waking up the next morning (afternoon) I realized I probably don't have enough room in my Torino 150 ct humidor. I knew about the cooleradors and Vinotemps so I took to the Internet and a few hours later I had subscribed to several forums, including this nice find.

So yea, most of my time has been in the Accessory forum dissecting coolerador and vinotemp posts. I can go further into that, but it's probably saved for a good coolerador and vinotemp stickeys.

So, good story eh? Still riding out the end of it really...we'll see what other purchases become of it.
