Been lurking for awhile and soaking up the information, vibes and camaraderie.

Hi, I’m Plexiprs and I’m a cigar smoker. Yes, an evil minority in this politically correct world today, but one of the few who understand the joy of relaxing with a good smoke, good friends and sometime a great beverage. First cigar at 13 or 14 from my Dad’s best friend, it was of Cuban origin, but I can’t remember what and it made me feel so much a man and part of their special group. Jerry always had Cuban cigars, boxes and boxes and would always hand me one.

“What the hell kind’a name is Plexiprs?” In the youth of the internet I joined my first forum that was music related. Searching for a name I looked around and saw my Marshall 100watt “plexi” amp and next to it my PRS guitar so I combined the two.

Nearly 50 years of age, born and raised in Florida, east coast just south of Cocoa Beach (setting for I Dream of Jeannie), left there in 1990 after 12 years as a police officer. Moved to Colorado and just this summer moved to Las Vegas, home of the overpriced tourist cigars. Yes, you too can stop at the tobacco shop in the airport and pickup a FFOX for only $96.00 a piece!!!!!!!

Divorced twice, now living with a wonderful lady who is the love of my life. We each have two children, a boy and girl each. Both boys are in college, one at the Naval Academy one at Colorado State. Work for a government contractor and love the fact that in Vegas you can do just about anything you want at any time of the day you feel the urge to do it.

Hobbies are music (guitar, keys, writing and arranging), digital photography (Canon bodies and glass), computers, and reading. I’ve been told I’ve a sick sense of humor and love to yank people’s chain all the time, this seems almost necessary at this place. Thick-skinned and slow to provoke.

Politically somewhat conservative, and wish the governments at all levels would stay the hell out of our personal lives. Can’t abide the recent upswing in smoking bans, love the fact that you can smoke in most grocery stores in Vegas.
