Salutations from West Virginia!
Hello All,
I recently came upon Club Stogie while researching humidors, and found the laid back atmosphere of the site appealing. I've been smoking cigars for about ten years. Even so, I can't imagine anyone knowing less about cigars than I do, but I decided to sign on when I saw the 'No Snob' policy. I actually began smoking cigars on fishing trips to keep the bugs at bay. I later began dropping in on a local cigar shop while I was a cop. At first buying only single cigars, I soon graduated to having my own box stored in the shop's humidor. I did that routine until the day I received a cigar catalog in the mail, and life has been pretty sweet ever since. I love to try new cigars, so I don't really have a favorite one. I probably smoke more Bacarrats than any other brand. Lately I've been trying some of the suggestions on the 'Best Bang for the Buck' list from JR Cigars, and have found a few that suit me just fine. I guess I'm basically a tightwad, and unless it's a special occasion, I'm not too keen on spending a lot on a cigar. Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Thanks for letting me join in, and I'm looking forward to my trip through the Jungle! bassetbuff |

Thanks for all of the responses, guys! As to where in West Virginia I call home, I live in the Eastern Panhandle- more of an extended suburb of the Baltimore-Washington area than what you might ordinarily think of for WV. I've never seen a coal mine in my life, although I have tried moonshine a couple of times...
