Welcome, I was stationed an Elmendorf for 3 yrs and a bouncer at Koots for 2 years, I love Anchorage. A great city, but I don't remember their being many cigar shops, except that place across from Mammoth (by 5th ave mall). Stay warm!

I was at Elmendorf, too, '86-91. My job was getting phased out, and if I had re-enlisted they would have made me leave, and that just wasn't an option so I mustered out. I'm still here.

You're thinking of Pete's. They're still in business, but I hate going downtown so much that I haven't been there in years. I may have to force myself and go see what they have in the walk-in.
