Wow, great website. I compared the prices and I paid quite a bit more at the store than online. But, I think it'll be a good experience to try a few sticks before I dive in. I did place some bids though on some H Upmann's, Montecristo, and Fuetne's!

Life is good, another member to the family of fellow cigar enthusiast, somewhat further up the coast and welcome. May I suggest you browse the newbie PIF forum, friend and member of CS recommended it to me and I really enjoyed the experience and tried a selection of cigars may have not considered. If you should decide to give it a try a word of caution not to get too carried away. Again, welcome to the jungle and a warning regarding the infamous 'slippery sloap', there is no sloap, it's a euphemis for taking a jump without a chute, or grab your backside and take the leap.

I'm with you; I like to stay loyal to my B&M who still gives me amazing deals, discounts, freebies and a really nice place to smoke when I want to. Being new myself, I still can't imagine buying a full box of 1 cigar. I like to sample around.

At some point you will need to split the difference. In California, you will need to buy your bulk via the internet. That doesn't mean you can't go to your local B&M and spend money. Just today, I spent $60 at the B&M. Yesterday I spent $32. Currently I have won $365 worth of cigars on Cigar Bid. That is 70 cigars...It is common sense. Those 70 cigars would cost me $600 - $700 at my local B&M.
