Smile I had no idea...
About a year ago for some strange reason I started craving for a cigar. I had never smoked one before besides a swisher sweet which is not really a cigar. My buddy I was hanging with was into cigars so he took me to Don Juans. I have a sweet tooth and wanted something that was mild and sweet. I was suggested to try the Elixir in the Natural Series by Drew Estate. We went back to his house where I opened the bed of my truck sat down and poped open my new cigar. I then lit it with the little piece of cedar that we got from the cigar shop and after the first puff a whole new world had opened up to me. I could not believe that this cigar was so good. Now a year later I still consider myself a newbie in the cigar world. I really enjoy anything made by Drew Estate but I am trying to branch out and try some different types of cigars just not sure which ones to go after. I also want to do the Newbie PIF but I don't want to send all ACID and Natural cigars being as I know they are not for everyone. My buddy that got me started doesn't smoke that much anymore so I can't hit him up for any information and through internet research I stumbled upon this forums. Any suggestions on some new sticks for me to try and for the Newbie PIF would be great. By the way I am from Walker, La.

Welcome Sweet... There is a great special going of from Mike Cigars... 8 sticks for $15.. all decent sticks too that wouldnt be overwhelming for your palate.... lemme find it and ill post it in this thread.

My wife loves Acid blondies and currently prefer's Drew Estates'/Natural's Jucy Lucy. Tasty little smokes!

And I'm right with 'ya. For some reason, I just started liking cigars. I'm usually just a weekend warrior (weekend smoker), having started up semi-regularly earlier in the year, but just yesterday, I felt like lighting up a Nub to try for the first time. There's just something about it I really dig.

Welcome to the Jungle! Being currently active in the newbie PIF and newbie Sampler I say jump right in if you can. It is a great way to get and try some smokes you may not have had the opportunity to do so otherwise.
