Hey all! Been waiting a while to get in here and meet you all. I'm John. I'm 41 and a relatively new cigar smoker (started in June). I'm in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY and currently trying hard to ignore the fact that winter is coming. Just was on my porch smoking the first Partagas Black Maximo from a new box and the little bugger got halfway through before it decided it was too cold and just gave up on me (42 degrees and I'm on a lake, so probably closer to mid-30s).

Gotta build me a smoking room or else it's gonna be a looooong winter.

Anyway, glad to meet you all!

Hiya John. Welcome to Club Stogie! I hope you find a nice warm spot to enjoy a few winter cigars. I find myself smoking the smaller cigars in the winter myself if I'm caught outside with one. I live in considerably further south in Atlanta, and it's already getting too cold here to sit outside for me!
