Smile New in the forum
Hello Eveyone!

I live in Istanbul, Turkey and have been smoking cigars for 8 years or in other words, since my junior year in college in the US. I am currently the coordinator of a conglomerate here in Turkey.

I have started out with HdM Excaliburs in the US. However since I moved out I have been smoking mostly Habanos. I smoke about 1-2 cigars per week but usually buy a lot more than I smoke to age.

I prefer to smoke different cigars from different brands but usually prefer thicker-gauge vitolas. I usually buy my smokes in Geneva and Spain where prices and quality IMHO are usually best.

This looks like a lively forum and wish many happy smokes to all friends here...

Welcome to CS.

Just curious.
You menitioned you get them from Geneva and Spain.
Does Instanbul have Habanos available and pricing drives you to the aforementioned countries or they just don't exist there at all in Turkey?

The same way we have a CS map for members to place a pin where they are from perhaps someone can start one to indicate the counties that have official Habanos. That would be neat.

Hi... There are some stores here that carry Habanos but no official dealers. The Istanbul airport dutyfree is quite good with a very large walk in But that is located at the departure hall (if you letthem know what you want when leaving, you can find your boxes waiting for you when you return from yur trip though ) However prices are much better in the countries I mentioned and the retailers are more reputable.
