Better late than never?
Hello all,

I've been hovering around in here a while but never got around to posting here. I've been sampling cigars for the last 10 or 15 years. One of my best friends, who now lives in FL, got me interested. My fav's are AF Hem SS, Torano Ex 1959 and anything Padron. I'm not an everyday smoker but when time permits I can't think of a better way to relax.

Howdy!
I understand Minneapolis has banned all smoking indoors for businesses. I was there a few years ago, and stopped by a cigar shop. The proprietor was not a happy guy!

Yeah, pretty much the whole state is smoke free indoors with some minor exceptions. Last I had heard there is one tavern in my small town (south of Minneapolis) that allows smoking. I can understand that a non-smoker should not have to put up with the smoke. I don't necessarily enjoy cigarette smoke myself. I just think the proprietor should be able to determine whether or not he wants to allow smoking.

It really doesn't bother me, I have a heated garage to smoke in during the Winter months and in the Summer a cocktail + cigar + some friends on the deck = pretty good times. Besides, my bar is a lot cheaper and I don't have to wonder if I'm safe to drive myself home.

I was going to make fun of the weather in MN, but it went from 54 to 30 with 50 mph winds and a chill factor of 15. Oh well. At least we can smoke indoors in parts of Virginia. You all have a Happy New Year. And Dog, keep posting and let us know what you smoked tonight.
