Introduction and cigar question
Hey, my names Marcus. I've been smoking cigars for a few years now, but I'm not a real big cigar smoker. Mother doesn't approve, not allowed to smoke in the dorms blah blah blah. I've live pretty near Two guys smoke shop, dunno if you guys are familar with it but I've heard it's one of the biggest stores around so I've gotten to try a bunch of different brands. I usually smoke the smaller cigarillo's, particularly the Arturo Fuente one's since I don't usually have time for a full size one, but when I do have the time I really like the Hoyo Monterrey Excaliber series and some of the Griffin's.
Anyhow, I'm down in florida for the next few days and I know that it's about as close as you can get to the area of south america known for growing the good tobacco while still being in the states. I was going to inquire as to cuban's but I saw your policy regarding that so I won't delve into it. What I am interested in though is if there's anything special I can pick up while I'm down here in regards to cigars that I can't otherwise get back up north. Maybe a fine local type of tobacco or something that isn't available outside the area, ya know what I mean. Thanks alot for any help, hopefully I can learn a few things while I'm here. |

Re: Introduction and cigar question
Sorry if I wasn't clear. What I'm looking for is cigars that are made from florida tobacco (if that exists) that are made here in florida that you can only get down here in florida. something of a local commodity is what I mean.

Re: Introduction and cigar question
Not sure about Florida tobacco but welcome. Go on the Corona Cigar website and perhaps pop by for a visit if you are in the Orlando area.

Re: Introduction and cigar question
Tampa Humidor has some good house blends and Tampa Sweethearts are very good. If you are in south Florida you have lots of hand rolled options.
Where are you in FL? |

Re: Introduction and cigar question
Go down to Little Havana in Miami. The Don Pepin Garcia factory is on 8th and 11th. That is a great place to start.
